Bienvenue dans la classe de Mme Karamon-Poullélaouen

I have been a teacher for more than 20 years, teaching both French and English, primarily at the high school level. French, however, has always been much more than a subject I teach. It is part of my family, my home, and my own story. French has been spoken in my family throughout most of my life, and I spent several years living and working abroad in France and other European countries, experiences that deepened my love for the language, culture, and the larger Francophone world.

In my classroom, I want students to experience French as a living language, not simply a collection of vocabulary and grammar rules. I strive to create a warm, engaging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, laughing, and discovering just how much they are capable of communicating.

Outside of school, I am the proud mom of two sons, Liam and Flynn, our dog, Winnie and two cats, Brooklyn and Olive. I adore traveling, weightlifting, yoga, long walks with Winnie, sipping a good cup of coffee, and eating dark chocolate whenever possible. Family, however, is at the heart of my life, and I am happiest when I am learning, exploring, and finding a little joy in the everyday.

I am excited to begin this new chapter at P-CEP and to share a language and culture that have been such an important part of my own life.

Bienvenue à toutes et à tous !
